Postnatal Program- $205 per couple
VENUE- STRATHAIRD COMMUNITY CENTRE, NARRE WARREN SOUTH, VIC 3805
- This class is designed for you and your support person to attend during pregnancy.
- 3.5 hours of interactive learning with experienced Registered Midwife Jemma
- Classes are run in a group setting that are capped so as to ensure a relaxed environment and allow for optimal learning.
Light refreshments will be provided.
You will learn about the:
- Immediate postpartum period- mother & baby checks, vitamin K, Hepatitis B and NST
- Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding basics
- What’s normal and not normal newborn behaviour
- Newborn care- nappy changes, baby bath, eye, and cord care
- Settling techniques- learn how to swaddle!
- Preventing SIDs
- Mental Health
- Postnatal planning & support
